3. Abdeen Palace.
Located inside the new city of Cairo, Abdeen Palace was constructed during the middle of the 19th Century as the Royal Residence of the Egyptian Monarchy. The Palace was the centerpiece of the Cairo and included more than 500 individual rooms. Abdeen Palace became the Presidential Palace during the administration of President Hosni Mubarek in 1952.
